ZDBC is used as a primary or secondary ultra-accelerator in synthetic rubber and their latexes. It is used as a primary or secondary ultra-accelerator in NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, HR, EPDM and their latexes. ZDBC has less accelerating effects than ZDMC and ZDEC and is effectively used in both natural and synthetic latexes for faster curing under normal (low) temperatures than ZDMC and ZDEC, with less scorching and blooming.
