Antioxidants / NDBC

Characteristics

NDBC is used as a secondary accelerator in most of the sulphur cured elastomers. NDBC is an effective antiozonant in SBR, BR, CR, NBR and IIR compounds for products used in dynamic applications where a wax film might break down and therefore not be efficient. The product is also used as an anti-degradent in polychloroprenes. NDBC is also used for EPDM and CSM vulcanizates that require high heat resistance, as well as coloured CR articles where it improves the resistance against sunlight exposure.
